Ethan Loufield joins CFI as Director of Strategy and Operations. Based in Washington, DC, Ethan helps CFI to make essential contributions to financial inclusion by ensuring that it runs smoothly, fulfills its commitments, and develops and implements creative programs. Ethan partners with program managers to help them identify, develop and plan new projects. He also oversees workforce development, spearheads CFI’s annual planning, and serves as a liaison to the CFI Advisory Council.
Ethan started his career with the Peace Corps and then entered the financial services arena with GE Commercial Finance and Wells Fargo. He was the Director of Finance at RevolutionCredit, a fintech startup backed by Accion Venture Lab, and more recently shifted to a consulting role with RevolutionCredit while also serving as Interim CFO at The Hill School.
Ethan has an MBA from Indiana University and is an alum of the Impact Business Leaders Social Enterprise & Impact Investing Program hosted at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business. He lives with his wife and two daughters in the countryside of Virginia, where they enjoy the natural beauty and historical charm that abounds.
