Before joining JoPACC in 2018, Maha had been working at the Central Bank of Jordan for 30 years, where she was most recently the Executive Manager of the Payment Systems, Domestic Banking Operations and Financial Inclusion Department.
Maha is a board member of CGAP, Karandaaz Pakistan and the Interledger Foundation. In 2016, she completed The Fletcher School’s Leadership Program for Financial Inclusion. In 2014, she joined the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Digital Financial Services Platform Enablers group in support of financial inclusion for the poor.
Maha holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.
