Pablo manages CFI’s research projects on financial inclusion topics as diverse as client consumer protection, financial capabilities, financial health and human centered design for digital credit innovations. Prior to joining CFI, he worked as a Development Effectiveness Officer at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)’s Opportunities for the Majority Sector, where he was in charge of monitoring the social performance of their portfolio of operations in Latin America, through the development and use of standard metrics. Before that, he worked for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in New York supporting the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) Beyond 2014 Review, and for Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in Mexico City, coordinating the implementation of an experimental impact evaluation on financial literacy for the World Bank’s Development Research Group.
He also has experience working for the private sector in sales and marketing, at Aeromexico (Mexico’s largest commercial airline) and PEPSICO. Mr. Antón is an Economist from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in New York.
