Richard Greenberg

Managing Director, Social Enterprise Finance, U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC)

Mr. Greenberg is a Managing Director at DFC, the U.S. Government’s development finance institution, with responsibility for co-leading the organization’s efforts to expand its contribution in the area of social enterprise and impact finance. The group he leads has closed over $1 billion in DFC financing to the microfinance sector, and expanded DFC’s activity in sectors such as health, water, education, energy, clean cooking, and agribusiness. He has degrees from The Wharton School, Johns Hopkins/SAIS, and George Washington University, and is a frequent speaker on impact investing at conferences and graduate schools of business and international affairs.
