Global Operations Manager, The Smart Campaign

In her role as the global operations manager for the Smart Campaign, Sarah prides herself on creating new systems to make workflows more manageable and organized for the team. Sarah is responsible for the supervision of the Campaign’s day-to-day operations, including the preparation and monitoring of its annual budget. In addition, she oversees communications, helps support the implementation of the client protection standards and manages Monitoring and Evaluation and global reporting for the Campaign.  Prior to joining the Smart Campaign team, Sarah was the Business Operations Manager for CFI managing core business processes.

Sarah has experience in project management, budgeting, marketing, event planning, CRM and database management and executive communications. She also currently serves as a steering committee member for the Washington DC Chapter of Women Advancing Microfinance.  Prior to joining, Sarah was as an account executive for a technology company, where she managed relationships to drive customer retention and cultivate new business in the DC metro area. Sarah has lived and worked abroad in Quito, Ecuador and Ahmedabad, India, and holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Boston University and a master’s in sustainable development from the SIT Graduate Institute.
