February 16, 12:30 – 2pm ET, Washington DC
Modelo Peru is a historic collaborative effort to establish an inclusive national digital payments platform–Billetera Movil (Bim)–the first of its kind in the world, which was launched on February 16, 2016. On the first anniversary of Bim, the Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion (CFI) invites you to join us for a Brown Bag Lunch to discuss our latest brief on the Modelo Peru project. Pablo Anton Diaz, Research Manager at CFI, will walk us through the main report findings, specifically the key implementation challenges and what the road to success looks like for financial institutions, government, telecommunications companies, payers and payees, all of whom have a stake in the success of Bim in Peru.
Please note that lunch will not be provided at this event. Please feel free to bring something to eat and we will have plates, silverware and refreshments available.
The brown bag will be held at CFI’s office located in Washington, DC:
