CFI ‘Inclusions’, April 2012: “The 2012 Virtual Volunteers Assist in Building Financial Inclusion”

> Posted by Center Staff
Volunteerism is a popular way for business professionals and employees of mainstream financial institutions to become involved in socially beneficial activities, such as microfinance. In fact, twenty-two volunteers from Credit Suisse, the Center for Financial Inclusion’s founding sponsor, are currently participating in CFI’s Virtual Volunteer program. This passionate group of volunteers will partner with CFI staff, through virtual interactions, to work on a variety of projects during the next several months.
This month, CFI’s newsletter, “Inclusions”, highlights the importance of volunteerism and features the 2012 Virtual Volunteer program. The newsletter also includes program updates for Investing in Inclusive Finance, the Smart Campaign, and New Horizons.
