As a way to assist the microfinance industry in adopting and implementing the Client Protection Principles, the Smart Campaign has developed an extensive collection of tools, including Smart Notes, training manuals, and various other educational materials on codes of ethics, over-indebtedness, transparency and much more.
To help microfinance institutions (MFIs), investors, and networks/associations navigate through the tools and figure out which resources best serve their needs, the Smart Campaign (thanks to the support of the Ford Foundation) has developed a comprehensive training that introduces the variety of tools available and suggests ways that they can be used.
Next week, the Smart Campaign is pleased to host an open webinar of this tools training (available in English, Spanish and French). The webinar and training will provide a great overview of the Smart Campaign and all of the resources available. In large part, it will focus on two “entry points” for when tools are especially helpful: 1) as part of a client protection strategy, and 2) as a solution to a specific problem.
We hope you can join us for this webinar to learn more about the practical and useful tools available to help focus the industry on client protection!
Please mark your calendars for the following open webinars in:
• English on Wednesday, May 23th from 10:00am to 11:00am EDT (NYC time)
