But with this progress has come new risks, and today’s rapidly evolving global landscape demands more than just access — it demands resilience. 

As we enter the second decade of Financial Inclusion Week, we face compounding global challenges: economic shocks, climate change, geopolitical instability, and digital vulnerabilities. These complexities require financial systems that not only include — but empower — the most vulnerable. 

Innovation is often seen as a disruptive force. What if, instead, we channel innovation to build resilience and well-being? Can we reimagine digital finance as a tool to bridge digital divides, reduce fraud, and promote inclusive growth for all — young, old, connected, or remote?
