Bethania Michael
Bethania supports the implementation of CFI’s communications strategy, including managing digital channels, supporting global convenings such as Financial Inclusion Week and the Responsible Finance Forum, and creating and disseminating compelling content to elevate CFI’s publications and research insights.
Prior to joining CFI, Bethania worked at Chemonics International, where she supported USAID-funded programs across East and Southern Africa. She is a published author with a research interest in governance and institutional development in the Horn of Africa. This research background was informed by her previous experience as a Research Specialist and Signature Events Coordinator at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where she earned both a B.S. and M.S. in Foreign Service.
