Gillous is an experienced analyst and researcher working across financial services policy and strategy. At the Center for Financial Inclusion, he conducted research on identity and payments systems, micro-insurance, and AI adoption for financial services companies in emerging markets. Prior to joining Accion, Gillous was a researcher at FinRegLab, where he conducted policy research on consumer lending, payments, and KYC practices. Gillous graduated summa cum laude with a BA in International Relations and History from William & Mary. He completed his MA in International Relations at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where he studied international economics and finance.
