Former Vice Chairman, Debt Capital Markets, Credit Suisse

Paul Tregidgo is former Vice Chairman – Debt Capital Markets of Credit Suisse, based in New York, and the current chair of the Advisory Council at CFI. During his career at Credit Suisse, Mr. Tregidgo held roles as Global Head of Debt Capital Markets and Global Head of Emerging Debt Capital Markets. He founded and co-chaired the Bank’s Impact Investing Advisory Council, served on the Global Investment Banking and Fixed Income Operating Committees, the Emerging Markets Council, and led the bank’s Global Government Client Segment. Under his leadership the franchise was recognized as an industry leader, winning awards as Best Emerging Market Debt House, Best Latin American Debt House and Most Innovative Bank. In 2017, Mr. Tregidgo was honored with Global Capital Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Prior to joining Credit Suisse First Boston in London in 1985, Mr. Tregidgo practiced international financial law in London and Hong Kong.

Mr. Tregidgo obtained his law degree from Downing College Cambridge. He currently serves on the Board of Accion, the Council of Global Advisors, Yale School of Management, and is a Senior Advisor with Blue Haven Initiative.
