WASHINGTON, D.C. — H.M. Queen Máxima of the Netherlands met today with the Center for Financial Inclusion’s (CFI) Managing Director, Mayada El-Zoghbi, in Washington, D.C. Queen Máxima visited in her capacity as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA). In a bilateral conversation, Queen Máxima and El-Zoghbi discussed several pressing topics for inclusive finance and advancing financial health, including customer protection, algorithmic bias, green inclusive finance, and the importance of multistakeholder collaboration to drive lasting impact.
